Changeable Lens Camera Basics – 1 Day (2-Hour Class) $200

In this beginner-friendly class, you’ll learn the fundamentals of using a changeable lens camera. Over two hours, we’ll break down:

• What all the buttons and settings on your camera actually do
• How different lens options affect your images
• The exposure triangle: Shutter Speed, Aperture, and ISO
• How these three settings work together to create the photo you want

By the end of the class, you’ll feel more confident moving beyond Auto mode and taking creative control of your camera.

Perfect for beginners who want to understand their gear and start capturing better photos right away.

One on One Photography Class

The class is custom built around your needs and wants.

Cost is $150/2hr.

Introduction to Lightroom

This will be a 3-week class, meeting for 2 hours each night. This class is oriented towards those just starting out with Lightroom. The class will be taught classroom/lecture style. We will cover importing and exporting images into and out of Lightroom. We will then dive into the develop module and give you a good understanding of how to take your images to the next level. If time permits we will touch on some of the other modules in Lightroom. You are welcome to bring a laptop or computer. Please make sure to have Lightroom already loaded on your computer. There are only 8 spots available for this class.

Photoshop CC

Introduction to Photoshop Class - This will be a 3 consecutive week class, meeting for 2 hours each Wednesday night. This class is oriented towards those just starting out using Photoshop. Though Photoshop CC will be used for demonstration, the class will be useful for anyone using almost any version of Photoshop or Photoshop Elements. You are welcome to bring a laptop or computer with you. If you do not have a version of Photoshop loaded, please load a 30-day trial version prior to class.  This will be taught classroom/lecture style. We will cover tools, layers, basic selections, adjustment layers, exposure and color correction and workflow.
